As one of the FAL sponsors Leanne asked me if I'd like to do a tutorial and hand quilting is something I have had on my to-do list for a while.
Plus I am desperately trying to finish hand quilting this Forth Bridge lap quilt by the first quarter deadline on Sunday so that I have at least one thing to post about!

Thanks for the article on hand quilting - I am looking forward to getting on with my own bit of hand quilting, that's if I ever finish the top! Thanks for the reminder about the pens too - I'd always meant to write a post about them, but like all good intentions, I forgot about it. !
ReplyDeleteI've not tried hand quilting but it's intriguing. Your article was wonderful with lots of great advice and great one-handed pictures :). I did wonder about a USA source for the Milwork needles or even a good internet place in the UK. Thanks again; you've made hand quilting very attractive looking and I may give it a try.

ReplyDeleteJust checked out your tutorial, very useful, I am new to quilting and haven't tried hand quilting yet but I want to give it a go as I find hand sewing very relaxing.
