First Photos!

Feel very pleased with myself for working out how to do this on my own (ok I watched a video tutorial first!). Not many photos to choose from yet as Jonathan needs to process some to be jpgs (I sound so technical!) but here are 2 close ups of baby Henry 'danger' Roberts cot quilt. It's just a simple log cabin with appliqued elephants and giraffes for the centres. The animals were taken from a set of nursery prints that were Sarah's (maternity) leaving present from the rest of the staff. I like to try and match the cot quilts with the rest of the nursery decor. I am currently about to tack the next cot quilt which also includes appliqued animals to match the chosen 'mamas and papas' nursery scheme. I obviously can't show you anything to do with this quilt until baby McAndie is safely delivered into the world at the end of August. Tacking the quilts is the only boring part of making them so I am procrastinating with some crocheting at present - more on this in future blogs (I will need to pace myself with the blogging I think!). Watch out for more quilts on my Flickr page soon.
