Our Christmas Fabric has arrived! I know you are all hot and sweaty and Christmas seems such a long way off but it's here anyway so let's celebrate!!
And not any old Christmas fabric, no, this is a whole collection from my favourite designer Cori Dantini!!
Merry Stitches is the usual adorable whimsy from Cori's beautiful illustrations and patterns. I just love this charcoal snowflake 'Fleeting grey'...
gorgeous leaves and berries 'Much Joy blue'...
and 'Little World of Wonder panel multi'! And many more, view them all plus the rest of our 'just in' Christmas fabrics here!
It's all available in Fat Quarters or Half Metres. Plus Fat Quarter and Fat 1/8th bundles.
And look what you can make with all this lovely fabric...
This is my Advent Quilt. Yes each of the squares is a little pocket for advent treats.
I made a version of this 3 years ago for a class that I never got enough bookings for (it was in the very early days of myBearpaw). I have rejuvenated it as a 5 week evening course which now includes machine embroidery, FMQ, EPP as well as basting and binding. Available for booking now, details here.
I am going to make another version of it with the charcoal fabric as the background and with a different numbering technique. Then whichever one I like best will go off to Quilt Market in Houston for the Blend Fabric stand. I love working for Blend, they are such a lovely company, and this year they are sponsoring the Stitch Gathering, so expect some Blend Fabric loveliness in your goody bag Stitch Gatherers!!
Oh and just a wee note - this year's event is now SOLD OUT!!
And so to the giveaway!!
Just to remind you that I am giving away a bundle of 8 Merry Stitches FQs, plus one of these beautiful 60cm panels (let's just look at it again!)
All you need to do is one or all of the following:
1. Leave me a comment below (make sure you are not a 'no-reply commentor'!) and tell me what your favourite Christmas Carol is!
2. If you follow my blog then you can have another entry as long as you tell me in a separate comment.
3. And for one more entry just blog, tweet (@bearpawcraft) or instagram (@mybearpaw) about this giveaway (don't forget to tag me and link back here!) and tell me in yet another comment!
